Geotechnical engineers are typically civil engineering graduates with some experience in the profession, and that usually at a desk. But Tony Ruggieri, Principal Engineer and owner of the business, has a unique background experience that allows him to provide a one-of-a-kind engineering expertise.

After receiving his civil engineering technology certificate (which included a nine month work co-op where he applied testing of soils, concrete and other materials, drafting and design work), he went on to achieve his Bachelor of Engineering, majoring in geotechnical and structural engineering. In addition, supplementing his overall knowledge of structural engineering, Tony has carpentry, framing, and business school under his belt, resulting in a great hands-on understanding, from the ground up, of the construction industry.

Tony is uniquely qualified to know the smallest details, from the inside out, of what to look for at a construction site and how to produce designs for structural integrity and longevity.
